Grand Alaska Combo Tour (14 days)
The Grand Alaska Tour Combo Tour is a combination of two of our trips: The Classic Alaska Tour and the Glacier Mountains Fjords Tour. 8 nights camping and 5 nights hotel/ lodge.
OUR LONGEST TRIP!
Our Classic Alaska Tour is a quintessential Alaska journey that features the major biotic regions and multi-sport activities that Alaska is world renowned for. Explore Kenai Fjords National Park, one of the richest marine environments in the world, encompassing the largest icefield (700 sq. miles) contained entirely within the United States. Hike with crampons on the Matanuska Glacier, Alaska’s largest accessible glacier. Explore the crown jewel of the National Park system, Denali National Park and Preserve and observe Alaska’s famed terrestrial mammals, and if you’re lucky, Mt Denali- tallest mountain in North America.
The Glacier Mountains Fjords Tour captures the heart of all those that make the journey. This off the beaten path trip brings you to the Matanuska Glacier Valley with the opportunity to experience Alaska’s colorful gold history. Travel deep within Wrangell St. Elias National Park, largest National Park in the U.S. and recognized part of a World Heritage site, exemplifying the essence of Alaska’s wild mountain/ glacier, early pioneer spirit. Explore the temperate rainforest and fjords near Valdez- often referred to as the “Little Switzerland” of Alaska. Board the world-famous Alaska Marine Ferry and travel across Prince William Sound along the base of the towering Chugach Mountains past dozens of glacial Fjords. One of our favorite trips!
